On June 23^rd and 24^th, 2021, the ‘First International COVID-19 Meeting. Best Practices’ took place, coordinated by the Hospital de Emergencias Enfermera Isabel Zendal (HEEIZ), with the support of the Teófilo Hernando Foundation (FTH) organising the Technical and Administrative Secretariat.

Highlighting the presidency of the Community of Madrid, the vice councilors and members of the Council, the Scientific Committee of HEEIZ (led by Dr. Eva Prats), Dr. Fernando Prados, General Director of the Hospital, Ms. Zainab Hawa Bangura, Under-Secretary-General and Director-General of the United Nations Office at Nairobi (UNON), Kenya, UNICEF Spain, and Arturo García de Diego, Director General of the FTH, with a particular interest in clinical research on the pandemic.

It was a hybrid International Meeting (online and face-to-face), developed in Spanish and English on best practices and lessons learned in the COVID-19 scenario.

El 23 y 24 de junio de 2021 tuvo lugar el ‘Primer Encuentro Internacional COVID-19. Mejores Prácticas’ liderado por el Hospital de Emergencias Enfermera Isabel Zendal (HEEIZ), con la coordinación de la Secretaría Técnica y Administrativa de la Fundación Teófilo Hernando (FTH).

Destacando la presidencia de la Comunidad de Madrid, los viceconsejeros y miembros de la Consejería, el Comité Científico del HEEIZ (dirigido por la Dra. Eva Prats), el Dr. Fernando Prados, Director General del Hospital, la Directora General de la Oficina de ONU en Nairobi (UNON), UNICEF España y Arturo García de Diego, Director General de la FTH, con un particular interés en la investigación clínica de la pandemia.

Se trató de un Encuentro Internacional híbrido (online y presencial), desarrollado en español e inglés sobre las mejores prácticas y lecciones aprendidas en el escenario de la COVID-19.
